Helping pets and their families live in harmony through sensory expertise
Following her Masters in Food Science from Oniris Ecole Nationale, Nantes, Cécile completed a PhD with Soufflet Biotechnology in 2016. Her thesis focused on understanding the parameters of the dried sourdough process, and its consequences on volatile profile and aroma perception of dried sourdough and related bread.
Soon after, she joined Diana Pet Food as a research project manager for the dog platform, where she worked on projects aiming to better understand dog perception and preferences. In 2017, Cécile joined the Odalia team. She uses her scientific scope of volatile profile, smell perception and human sensory to develop cat litter and dog pad solutions that work for both human and pet members of the family.
With the ever-increasing importance of pets as family members, she loves the challenge of understanding pet perception and responding with creative, innovative solutions that allow the whole family to live in harmony.
